Our Client’s objective was to speed-up the process of Critical report result of the Patients to avoid any risk regarding Patient’s Health. So, DreamSol provided a web solution by automating the process with pre-defined milestones for quick and smooth workflow.

About our Client

Client Description: Hospital’s massive 2.1 million sq. ft. campus provides 1,600+ beds and houses facilities for over 22+ super-specialties, all under one roof. Each floor is dedicated to a specialization to ensure that they function as independent hospitals within a hospital and yet have the comfort of collaborating on complex cases.

Dreamsol’s Solution

Team DreamSol spent good amount of time in brainstorming sessions with our client to understand the minutest details of the requirement. After a thorough requirement analysis, we came up with a solution that gave an interface to the departments involved in the process for quick communication. These are the solutions which were offered by us:

  • Instant inbuilt communication channels– By considering the urgency of the matter, the application was in-built with the call feature, so that the information could be shared on immediate basis.
  • TAT based completion of the Task- Every stage of the process has its own Turn-Around-Time (TAT) to complete the task, failing to which it gets escalates till L5.

Exhaustive analytical reports- With daily, weekly, monthly summary reports, the management could monitor the loopholes in the chain and exactly which department is leading to delay in process.

Challenges faced by our client

  • No separate workflow for critical patients- All the reports were handled in the same manner and with same time, due to which any alarming report result could be communicated on immediate basis.
  • Manual Process- There was no automated system of the process, everything was done manually and so it was a time taking process due to which the patients of critical condition suffered.

No Tracking- Laboratory department informs the respective department about the patient’s critical result, but it somehow gets missed and fails to reach the doctor at right time. Due to this delay, it could be a matter of life and death.

Results

  • Our client now has a complete automated system integrated with in-built communication channel, which helps in speeding the process of communication to respective treating doctors of the patient.
  • The immediate communication of the critical report results helps in avoiding any wrong treatment of the patient.
  • As per the severity of the process, Management could monitor every stage and with the help of department wise graphical dashboards they can take do the trend analysis of the period of time.
  • Through various analytical reports, Productivity Score of the employees and departments can clearly reflect their performance level.
