Educational Qualification: Bachelors (any stream) / Diploma in Computer Applications

Skills Required: The core responsibilities of the position are:

  • Customer-facing technical consultation and support via phone, e-mail, chat or in-person
  • Interact directly with customers/ vendors/ partners responding to technical information regarding change requests, design guidance inquires & problem reports related to software
  • Server Support/ Remote Monitoring on round the clock shift basis
  • Sound database knowledge of MySQL, MS SQL Server
  • Facilitate and or drive issue resolution
  • Develop tools, documentation (knowledge resources, technical notes, whitepapers etc.), reference systems, sample & demo code and solution collateral to speed job functions and aid in knowledge transfer throughout for direct and indirect customers
  • Proficient in Java debugging skills with good knowledge of Windows and Linux based platforms
  • Understanding of mobile messaging protocols (Kannel/ SMPP /HTTP)
  • Familiarity with computer server hardware
  • Back up system management of various applications, servers & other knowledge resources
  • Provide timely reports as required related to the client & server support status
  • Available to travel on short notice as required, to provide technical support and training to customers
  • Assists in enforcement of development deadlines and schedules with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work load, and meet these milestones
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced startup environment with dynamically changing requirements.
